Link & Go opens its first club in Spain in Barcelona
Lynk & Co, the flexible mobility solutions company, settles in Spain and does so by opening the doors of the first club in Barcelona (Paseo de Gracia, 44). With the number of members that are part of the brand in Spain (10% of the total) and the high level of ‘engagement’ generated in the networks, defining the country as one of the three main European markets for Link & Co.
Lynk & Co was created to offer mobility solutions to the connected generation and for sustainability to be a cornerstone of the company. They manufacture the cars, at the moment they have a single model, the ’01’ which is a plug-in hybrid because “at the moment the infrastructures for the 100% electric car are not sufficient in the countries. Only Norway is ready. Although our intention is to launch a car 100% electric in the near future”, explains Alain Visser, CEO of Lynk & Co. But the most innovative thing about this company is not the car, which has the technology of a Volvo XC 40 or a Polestar 2, it is manufactured in China and You can only get it in two colors: blue and black. Visser wants to make it clear that “we do not sell cars, we sell mobility. With a monthly contract of €550 per month you have the car for all occasions, with maintenance, insurance and road tax included. And you can share it with friends and family or others members of the Lynk & Co community so you can get cheaper”.
The club that Lynk & Co has opened in Paseo de Gracia serves to take a test drive, but also to have a drink and connect with other members, participate in events or purchase products from local sustainable brands.
Sustainability is a fundamental part of the company and has also played a determining role in the construction of the Club in Barcelona. In addition, like all the company’s clubs, they will run on 100% renewable energy.
