Johann Kollreider succeeds Reinhard Lobenwein
New manager for WK Osttirol: Born in Anraser, he has managerial and financial experience.
In 2000, Reinhard Lobenwein succeeded Leo Gomig, the famous district manager of the East Tyrol Chamber of Commerce. More than 22 years later he says: “I still enjoy working here.” In May of next year he will retire.
In the meantime, hearings have been held in stages at the Chamber of Commerce to nominate a successor: “We spoke to eight very interesting candidates, all of whom had some connection to the district,” explains Michaela Hysek-Unterweger, district chairwoman of the Chamber of Commerce .
The ballot box for the native Anraser Johann Kollreider. According to the district chairperson, he convinced the selection committee, not least because he had the relevant management experience.
The 53-year-old started his career as a bank branch manager at Raiffeisenbank in Lienz and then switched to Raiffeisenbank Innsbruck as private customer manager. He was later appointed to the Sales Board of Hypo Tirol Bank, where he remained for the appointed four-year period. He then switched to Sparkasse Tirol. Almost two years ago he decided to return to his family in East Tyrol. Since then he has worked at Raiffeisenbank Lienz as a business customer advisor.
The application for the position was practically obvious: “I was born in East Tyrol, grew up and went to school, I know the district, but with the 15 years that I have worked in Innsbruck, I also bring the perspective of ‘ on the outside,” explains Kollreider. In addition, he has worked a lot with companies through his activities in the banking sector and knows their perspectives.
As the future district manager of the Chamber of Commerce, he would like to offer East Tyrolean companies high-quality advice, tackle the issue of mobility and promote the expansion of all-day childcare, says Johann Kollreider, whose brother Wilfried Kollreider is the head of the Lienz Chamber of Labor.
At the beginning of next year, Johann Kollreider will start working for the Chamber of Commerce, with a three-month training period at the district offices in Tyrol before he takes on various managerial functions at the Lienz district office in April 2023.
