Avignon: the Palais des Papes, setting for an escape game

Escape from the Palace of the Popes. This is what the Departmental Archives offers to visitors through the escape game “Trapped in the Palace of the Popes”which will be unveiled for the first time on the occasion of European Heritage Days, Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September 2022.

Riddles and an amulet
Created by the Avignon-based company Time Experience, the game invites six participants to solve ” four puzzles, in four places: the Fromagère, the Benedict XII Chapel, the Campane tower, the “Basses-Fosses”, details the Vaucluse department. This will allow them to recover four amulets to get the key that will allow them to escape from the Palace. »
A game master will accompany the captives throughout the game and will make them travel through four eras : the Middle Ages, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution and the 20th century. A unique opportunity to discover this emblematic building of the city from a unique angle.
Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 September from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (last departure at 6 p.m.). Reservation required on 04 90 86 16 18.
