Her first race as a licensee of the Caen Athletics Club was a resounding success! Flavie Renouard won hands down the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the U23 Mediterranean Championships, Saturday September 10, 2022 in Pescara. On her 22nd birthday, the Normande let go of the horses to take control from the outset and never let them go again. In front of only four competitors, she finished “with a smile and good feelings” by setting the second fastest time of her career: 9’42s31.
I absolutely loved this course. I really enjoyed it!
Second, the Turkish Rihab Dhari finished fifteen seconds behind Flavie Renouard. A rich year
The year has been rich for Flavie Renouard, who made a great start in Manchester in early June (9’36s59). Her time had allowed the young woman to qualify for the senior European championships.
