Politics 2022, election day: focus on the Genoa model and expensive energy
Genoa. Here are today’s press releases, Friday 10 Septemberin view of the political elections set for next September 25th.
Diga, Rixi (Lega): “Who today hosanna Bucci yesterday voted against the Genoa model”
“The new Genoa breakwater is – and remains – one of the symbolic works of the NRP. Who rejoices for any delays in fact against Genoa and against the development of the entire economy of the North West. On the other hand, the left has already amply demonstrated that it is far from the interests of the Genoese when the Democratic Party was the Parliament that voted against the Genoa Decree. When the city wounded by the collapse of the Morandi Bridge asked for help, only the Democratic Party turned away. Without forgetting the Renzians ‘enlightened on the road to Damascus’ in Action, who voted today against Genoa: they praise the decree and Mayor Bucci for mere chance then electoral prevent the use of the Genoa Model as the main road for all public works in the country. After the disasters of the ministries Paola De Micheli – who denied the queues on the motorway – and Giovannini we also have to hear who rejoices in the delays of the new Dam and who tries to cancel the recent past in which he ignored the request for help from Genoa and of its citizens “. This was stated in a note by Lega deputy Edoardo Rixi, former deputy minister at MIT and head of the League’s infrastructure department.
Energy, Toti (Noi Moderati): “While families and businesses are increasingly in difficulty, I hear proposals that are too extravagant”
“I’m going back to gas and electricity bills because, while households and businesses can’t wait any longer, I hear more or less extravagant proposals and European negotiations that go astray at every turn. There is a marked and simple path, which we have already used for Covid. I try to explain it simply: last July Europe already allowed the “Temporary Framework” aid scheme, which authorizes member countries to derogate from the ban on state aid to businesses. Therefore from the rules, answer without violating the maxi-bills obtained. In this sense, the State could use the Development and Cohesion Funds, which are national funds, without the need for authorization from Brussels. The green light from the Cohesion Agency is enough ”. Giovanni Toti of Noi Moderati writes it on Facebook.
“At the next meeting in Europe, on the other hand, our Government should strongly ask that the European Funds Por-Fesr and ESF, money dedicated to companies through the Regions, can also be used to compensate companies. In the Covid era, a Von Der Leyen directive authorized the Italian regions to use those funds to restore companies. Today, however, Europe excludes this possibility. Yet this is 75 billion euros for Italy over the next five years. It is not necessary to use them all but some could be used to immediately resurrect businesses. It is money already allocated, which does not produce new debt. Getting clearance from Europe would be much easier and less risky than other options on the table today. I invite all political leaders to plant it with slogans and simplifications and to join us so that the Government brings this proposal to the next European Council ”.
Rixi (Lega): Read Model against Genoa? With Pd rules Pnrr works will never be done
“Every Enrico Letta election campaign in Genoa reaffirms that he is against the Genoa Model. But the Genoese know that the Democratic Party has turned its back on it in times of need, and now it turns its back on the territories that need safe and well-made infrastructure in a short time. Letta take a tour under the San Giorgio Bridge to understand what the Genoa Model is, which is nothing more than the application of European rules, so much heralded by some leftists and never applied. We have a model that works. It is no coincidence that in Genoa we have done a great work in just over a year, facing a country that is not even able to open its construction sites. The works of the PNRR with the rules of the Democratic Party will never be done “. This was stated by the deputy of the Lega Edoardo Rixi, former deputy minister at MIT, on the sidelines of his speech in Formello on the occasion of the focus on local authorities and Pnrr ‘Projects for the enhancement of territories’ organized by the Itaca 2.0 Association.
