San Marino. participation of the Secretary of State for Industry Fabio Righi at the 31st edition of the Economic Forum in Poland
Participation of the highest level for the Secretary of State for Industry of the Republic of San Marino Fabio Righi at the 31st Economic Forum in progress in these days in Poland in Karpacz.
The Forum is the largest meeting platform in Central and Eastern Europe – with over 4,000 participants including political, business and economic leaders from all over the world – where not only security, prospects for economic development, contemporary challenges and overcoming crises, but also specific solutions and innovative ideas are presented.
Secretary Righi, invited by the organization of the Forum – whose theme this year is “Europe facing new challenges” – spoke this morning in the panel ‘Climate favorable to the development of SMEs – What does it mean?’ on the subject of the pressure that small and medium-sized enterprises have had to face for years to reduce production costs, increase productivity and innovation. What are the strategies and tools that allow SMEs to increase their competitiveness in national and global markets today, is the question the panel was asked to dare to answer.
‘Our team has already paid attention to the difficulties that bind us in the coming months due to the energy crisis in this Russian-Ukrainian conflict and the prospects and in the logic of the digital transformation of how it can represent a driving force and a development opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises with a view to containing costs and lowering prices – ‘said Secretary Righi. ‘The forum represents the ideal opportunity and context for meetings with representatives of other governments and the economic world: we have already had a first encounter with the technological world represented here by giants such as Google, Microsoft and Amazon. In particular, I was able to deepen the theme of the participation of the Republic of San Marino at the Annual Investment Meeting in Abu Dhabi next May so that it is a concrete moment of creating opportunities for our companies in a very interesting context. ‘
