U19 UEFA Futsal EURO: Spain, Poland, Portugal and Ukraine through
Poland, Portugal, Spain and Ukraine secured their place in Thursday’s UEFA European Under-19 Futsal Championship semi-finals after the group stage came to an end at the Olivo Arena in Jaén.
Spain and Ukraine were already through to Group A after two rounds and after drawing 2-2, the home team, reigning champions, secured the place. Meanwhile, in Group B, Portugal thrashed Italy 6-1 and secured first place, with Poland defeating France 3-2 and sealing qualification as runners-up. Thus, in Thursday’s semi-finals, they will be available for three teams in the semi-finals of the first edition of the competition, in four of the teams, in 2019: Portugal, Spain and Poland. The news is Ukraine, which “replaced” Croatia, the finalist won in the previous edition.
