Monty Python star John Cleese, 82, took to Twitter today, as the comic announced he was wrapping up another show on his worldwide comedy tour, Last Time To See Me Before I Die, which has entertained fans in their thousands. With his 5.7 million followers in mind, the comedian shared a picture of himself inside a car.
In his farewell message, John said he thought the Swedish people were “sweet but the hotels were ‘terrible'”.
He wrote: “Goodbye Sweden! Your people were sweet and your hotels horrible. We’re going to #vilnius to entertain the villains.”
Fans of the Monty Python star rushed to the tweet’s reply to send him their views on Swedish hotels.
Emilyringström1 said: “Northern Sweden… The hotels in Stockholm are infinitely superior.”
The comedian has been outspoken in his criticism of the former US president and made his views public online.
He was reacting to one user’s claims that the former commander-in-chief suffers from “serious mental problems”.
The TV actor, on the contrary, said he found it “comforting” as the ex-president became “crazier”.

The comedian’s comments come after ex-CIA senior officer John Sipher wrote: “Future students of history will be baffled as to how a man with severe mental health problems and no idea how to govern became president.”
John’s followers soon flooded the comments section with their own opinions on the subject.
