Exploration Mission | Cyber security in Sweden | Novelty
News | 2022-09-07 | 16:58
Dutch cyber companies are invited to sign up for the first physical reconnaissance mission on cyber security in Sweden.
Sweden is one of the world’s leaders in terms of digital competence. In the area of cyber security, however, the position is modest. The general need for cyber security knowledge, skills and implementation is huge. Read more about the cyber security market in Sweden here.
After several roundtable discussions and webinars, the Dutch embassy in Sweden has Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO), Safety Delta (HSD) and InnovationQuarter are pleased to invite you to the first physical reconnaissance mission Cybersecurity Sweden:
Dates: Thursday 10 November and Friday 11 November 2022
Location: Stockholm, Sweden
Cost: €500 per company incl. VAT (excl. travel and accommodation)
Draft program
This exploratory mission enables Dutch cyber companies to explore opportunities in the Swedish market. In addition, it provides an opportunity to establish initial contacts between Swedish stakeholders and the Dutch cyber security cluster. A provisional program has been put together which will be further developed in consultation with the participating companies.
Thursday 10 November
The main activity this day is a visit to the Radar Summit, a one-day IT security conference where the most important stakeholders from Sweden gather (see appendix for dummy list of potential partners and customers).
- The Dutch delegation is presented to Swedish visitors with the help of a small stand.
- In the evening, there will be a private networking dinner with Swedish cyber security experts and other invited guests who can introduce the Dutch delegation to their network and provide insight into the Swedish IT security market.
Friday November 11
Friday will be devoted to a further deep dive into Sweden and the local initiatives in the area of cyber security.
- During a networking breakfast, local stakeholders give presentations on the latest developments in the Swedish IT security market and share their local knowledge and expertise with the members of the delegation in a small setting.
- The delegation will visit one or more (cyber security) companies and/or knowledge institutes in the region.
Note that you can optionally visit IT security conference Cloud Security Day in Stockholm on Wednesday 9 November. This conference is not an official part of the program, but is attended by mission organizers to explore and strengthen the local network.
