San Marino. On 10 and 11 September with “Quattrocentesca”, at the Parco Ausa a historic camp reminiscent of the fifteenth century
A step back in time at Parco Ausa di Dogana
The Giunta di Castello di Serravalle with the organizational management of the San Marino historical-cultural association “La Corte di Olnano and the Compagnia dell’Istrice”, through the collaboration of various evocative groups of the district and beyond, will reconstruct and set up a real 15th century medieval military camp.
In the green area of the Ausa di Dogana Park in San Marino, on 10 and 11 September two days of philological re-enactment will take place, where the reenactors will live according to the customs and traditions of the late ‘400 and visitors will be able to immerse themselves on Saturday from 10.00 at 20.00 and on Sundays from 10.00 to 18.00.
For the evening of Saturday there is a medieval dinner by reservation, enlivened by the evocative activities of some of the historical groups present who will show us some particularities of the early Middle Ages (see the attached poster).
In the two days of the “Quattrocentesca”, scenes of daily life from a distant but always fascinating past will come to life again. The armigers, soldiers and guards will practice military maneuvers and duels demonstrating military techniques and skills. The vivandiere, in the field kitchen, will be engaged in the preparation of food and drinks with ancient aromas and flavors, while skilled tradesmen such as seamstresses, cerusico and will be craftsmen said to complementary activities to the camp.
The present audience will then be transported into an atmosphere of sounds and colors that will take them back in time.
To anticipate the event, on Friday 9 September from 8.00 pm the groups: Halah, Eonia Rise and MVP will perform live concerts of power, symphonic and progressive metal. For all three evenings there will be food stands.
Free admission to all events.
