Mayor presents programmatic lines in the City Council


(ANSA) – GENOA, 06 SEPT – “We must ensure that Genoa builds jobs: in the first five years we have created 24,000 new jobs and the conditions are in place to create 40,000 in the next five”. So the Mayor Marco Bucci on the occasion of the first city council after the summer break. The mayor presented the programmatic lines focusing heavily on work. “And the mission of the councilorship will be to attract investments in the city and, through the municipal work table, create a synergy to generate new quality employment”, explains the mayor who also bets on the positive effect of new infrastructures such as ” the construction of the Terzo Valico and the start of works for the indispensable Gronda di Ponente, works that will guarantee the competitiveness of port companies and the development of employment “. Bucci wants to enhance neighborhood trade and the model used in the historic center with incentives to open businesses will be replicated in Sampierdarena. There will be, says the mayor, maximum attention to have an “eco-sustainable city that respects the territory and the sea, healthier and more pleasant” and on the subject of waste announces: “We aim for a separate collection system that can work throughout Genoa as in the historic center where it has already reached 65% “. As for Culture “We design a historic center transformed into an authentic” open-air museum “; we enhance the 24 civic museums and all the other public and private museums”, he says. As regards mobility, the works concerning the 4 roads, the extension of the subway, the financing for the SkyMetro has started: all the works that will be completed in the next five years.
