Madeira hosts Oceanman’s debut weekend in Portugal | Swimming

With half of the participants arriving outside Madeira, the main objective of the archipelago’s connection to the Oceanman is to affirm the region as a destination with “unique characteristics for swimming in the sea”, with the two days of competition having in practice a format similar to MIUS 2021.
Thus, on Saturday, always arriving in Funchal, there will be stages “Ultra Oceanta” (30km departing from Calhe), “Oceanman10km departing from Câmara de Lobos” (5km departing from Ponta Gorda) ).
For Sunday, reserved as shorter and more accessible connections. The strokes in the first 1.5 kilometers (“Spirit”) and 500 meters (“Oceankids”) will be given from Barreirinha, while the 3.5 kilometers will start at next hotel.
