JB Innsbruck: “Gott zu Ähre” Finally again thanksgiving district in Neustift
From 16th to 18th September 2022 the time has finally come: die Young farmers / rural youth district of Innsbruck celebrates the big district harvest festival in Neustift im Stubai together with all 64 local groups of the district.
Visitors can look forward to a varied three-day program that ends with the Thanksgiving parade on Sunday as the absolute highlight.
“God to the Ear”
The motto of the three-day district harvest festival 2022 was deliberately chosen. JB/LJ Neustift created this slogan out of conviction. “Even if times are sometimes difficult, we still live in prosperity and peace. That’s exactly what we want to say thank you for this weekend,” the officials explain Stefan Hofer and Julia Gleischer. The district officials Daniel Nairz and Theresa Gratl agree and add: “We could not have found a suitable motto for our #BED22, it is a great pleasure for us and “ear of corn” to organize and carry out this festival together with the Neustift Young Farmers’ Association.”
Party night on Friday
The district harvest festival will open on Friday at 8 p.m. All dancers are entertained by “Lätz Fetz” and the young and the young at heart get their money’s worth in the disco bar. On all three days, special attention is paid to the topic of regionality. The young farmers of Neustift take care of the physical well-being of their guests with home-cooked regional delicacies and ice-cold drinks all weekend long.
day of agriculture
Saturday is all about agriculture. From 12 p.m. the animals are expected from the surrounding alpine pastures, the Grawa and the Tschangelair Alm. At the Almabtrieb festival, the right thing is offered for young and old: For the children there will be a great program with games and fun and the adults will be well entertained at the U1 brunch with four different groups. In the early hours of the morning, the local groups will set off with their own floats, Thanksgiving crowns and contributions to Neustift, where Holy Mass will take place at 9:00 a.m. on the lawn in front of Hotel Fernau. This is framed by the BMK Neustift and the group “Tirolerisch Gspielt”.
