1er Marché des Producteurs de Pays régional à Bordeaux
Born from the will of the Departmental Chambers and the Regional Chamber of Agriculture of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the first Market of Regional Country Producers will be held Saturday September 17, 2022, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.. It will take place on the Quai des Chartrons (at the level of the Chartrons market on Sunday morning).
Gastronomy and know-how as heritage
This market will promote production and know-how from all over New Aquitaine. The date of September 17 is not the result of chance since this market will take place on the Saturday of the European Heritage Days.
Sweet, salty or even iodized flavors, the market will include about fifteen producers from all over New Aquitaine for the pleasure of young and old. The public will be able to sit down to enjoy brunch, lunch, a snack or simply have a drink on the quays.
Direct selling and short circuits as DNA
Marchés des Producteurs de Pays® is a national brand managed by the French Chamber of Agriculture since 2007. It brings together around forty departments, including 10 in New Aquitaine. Nearly 1,000 farmers in the region are members, making it the leading organizing region in France. These markets are the showcase of the know-how of our regions, since they only bring together farmers, all committed to respecting a national charter of good practices:
Local and seasonal productions (oysters, duck, beef, poultry, goat cheese, products from beekeeping, winegrower, market gardener, berries, etc.)
Producers trained in good hygiene practices
A festive dimension to the market (concert, on-site tasting, street food formula, gourmet tables, etc.)
Events rooted in raising awareness on short circuits
An environmental will by encouraging the consumption of local and local products, communication messages to guests on the reduction of waste (reusable containers or bio-sourced materials) and the fight against food waste
A brand carried by the Chamber of Agriculture and farmers committed to their production and processing practices
Markets reserved exclusively for local farmers and artisans
