Oberhaching – drive over the roundabout – district of Munich
A 20-year-old from Munich caused massive damage on Saturday morning in Oberhaching on Kybergstrasse there. The young man drove with two passengers – a 28-year-old from Munich and a 27-year-old from the Munich district – in his Audi coupe along Grünwalder Weg in the direction of Kybergstrasse, but the driver did not turn in at the roundabout, instead driving for reasons that are still unclear over the middle island and threw the vehicle further into Kybergstrasse. There he finally collided with two parked cars, a Mercedes and a Volkswagen, and only then came to a stop. In the accident, the 20-year-old driver and the 28-year-old passenger sustained minor accidents and were taken to a hospital by the ambulance service for outpatient treatment. The car that caused the accident and the Mercedes got off less lightly, both were badly damaged. The VW, however, was only slightly damaged – but overall there was damage of several tens of thousands of euros. The driver was found to have an alcohol level of 0.4 per mille; Shortly before the accident, the police said, the three men had bought beer bottles from a nearby gas station.
