MADRID, 4 (EUROPE PRESS)
Granada lost this Sunday in their visit to Andorra on the fourth day of LaLiga Santander, a 1-0 that cost them the leadership that Albacete took from Malaga with their victory (1-2).
The Andalusian team fell to a recently promoted team that continues to enjoy the start of its first professional campaign. A great goal from Iván Gil after five minutes, quality control and definition, sent for the locals in their home debut.
A first game in the Second Division in front of its public that claimed an illustrious victim, a Granada that arrived undefeated leader but that took a long time to react to the initial blow. In the second half, Marc Fernández and Perea had the away option to continue at the top of the table. The first position was left to Albacete, with 10 points.
Higinio and Manu Fuster put on a convincing 0-2 after five minutes of the match at La Rosaleda. Málaga discounted through Escassi, but the locals were powerless in the second half, with a crowd that fears a new season of suffering.
Meanwhile, Burgos moved into the promotion zone with their 1-0 win over Cartagena, thanks to Álex Bermejo’s penalty goal. In addition, Huesca cut their first victory with a resounding 3-0 against Ibiza in the relegation zone, with goals from Kevin Carlos, Marc Mateu and Kanté.
The day was closed by the victory in the 97th minute of Lugo over Real Zaragoza (1-2) to climb the table and leave the hands in relegation. The Galician team had more determination and came from behind thanks to a brace from Christopher Ramos, who silenced La Romareda with a great goal, saving a bad start from Cristian Álvarez.
