Abel Ferreira talks about a “good disease” in Brazil and makes comparisons to Portugal
Ishortly after the Palmeiras draw against Red Bull Bragantino (2-2)in the early hours of this Sunday, Abel Ferreira addressed the team’s recovery after losing by two goals, but did not hesitate to make a comparison with Portugal, even talking about a “good disease” in Brazil.
“Brazil has a disease: everyone is crazy about football. All social strata are at the same level and easily get together to see their teams”, he began by saying in his statements quoted in UOL Esporte.
“[Em Portugal] Benfica, Sporting and Porto always have more fans than clubs that play at home. Not here. Here there are always more local fans than visitors. The fans here are very fond of their club. It’s a positive disease, we need that machine,” he added.
“We would not build football and in life, we would transform an hour as if it were a minute. We want the house from the roof down. If we were all as managerial as you are with coaches, players and players, we will surely be much better”, he concluded in relation to the regarding the safety reaction of the team in the match.
Despite having added the third consecutive draw, Palmeiras remains in the lead of the Brasileirão with 51 points.
