Dennis Foggia’s run-up to the top of the standings restarts from Misano than in the first day of free in Misano marked the difference: almost 4 tenths faster than the runner-up, Ayumu Sasaki (reduce from two wins in the last three races). The Roman certainly did not throw in the towel, despite the delay of 49 points from Sergio Garcia. On the other hand with seven Grand Prix to compete the title discourse remains open and we know how much the episodes can weigh in Moto3. It is enough to remember what happened in Great Britain (double zero of the two Gas Gas drivers, Garcia and Guevara, at the top of the championship). Dennis wants to cancel the colorless performance of Austria where he has never managed to enter the race, arriving at the finish in twelfth position. The couple of the Leopard team started boarding because the performance of Foggia was added to that of the teammate Tatsu Suzki, third in the combination, and proved invaluable in Dennis’ super lap, which he pulled to the finish line. However, the team game did not work in the next lap when it was the Roman’s turn to make way for the Japanese who still took home a result that could prove to be decisive in view of Saturday’s qualifying, in the case of the rain forecast for Saturday morning they were confirmed.
Guevara 9th, further back Migno and Rossi
The bogey of the weather could create some scratch head especially a Guevaracurrently ninth in the combination, while Garcia he can console himself with a fourth time that puts him quite safe. Who should hope for a sunny morning though Andrea Migno, on the edge of a qualifying at risk with the fourteenth place that temporarily puts him in shelter, but with a very narrow safety margin. The mood of Paolo Simoncelli, at the head of the Sic58 team, was not the best at the end of the day. His riders both finished out of the top 14, for different reasons: Riccardo Rossihe started well in the morning on the track dedicated to the late Marco Simoncelli, he finished the second round in seventeenth place. Lorenzo Felloncrashed during Fp2, it was taken to the medical center for observation.
