Computer Exam | Kobo Clara 2E arrives in Portugal at the end of September and costs €149
Rakuten Kobo continues to bet on electronic book readers (e-readers) and has introduced a new model. Clearly 16GB of storage – that is, be a resource2 of books and resources in 3 format digital screen.
Among the novelties of this model are the integration of Bluetooth technology, which allows audiobooks through the e-reader, and the IPX8 certificate, which means that it can be submerged in water for 60 and up to two meters in depth.
The Kobo Clara 2E also has a lighting system that allows you to adjust not only the brightness level, but also the color temperature. In this way, the ‘yellowish’, for example, at night, is possible the most impacting environment of light in poorly lit eyes.
With 8.66 millimeters of thickness and 171 grams of weight, it is a device that still promises to have good ergonomics.
As usual with Kobo book readers, there is support for a wide range of files: EPUB, PDF, Mobi (e-book formats), JPEG, GIF, PNG (TXT, HTML, RTF image formats text), CBZ and CBR (comic book formats), among others.
In addition to the technical characteristics, Rakuten Kobo presents this more sustainable e-reader: 5% of the plastic is not recycled and 1% even originates from plastic used in the oceans, according to the brand.
Users can also buy two covers for the Kobo Clara 2E: the basic SleepCover costs 19.99 euros and serves only as a protective cover for the device; the SleepCover for more advanced hands costs 29.99 euros and also works as a support for reading without.
The Kobo Clara 2E costs 149.99 euros and arrives in Portugal on the 22nd of September. Pre-sales for the new e-reader begin this Thursday, September 1.
