To stimulate gracefully medical research on motor therapy and its promotion, to provide many people with disabilities the opportunity to compete in exciting activities and to dare space for solidarity: these are also the objectives of the event “However … what a show!”, An event in cultural, sporting and therapeutic nature linked in particular to the world of motors, the second edition of which will be held from 9 to 11 September in the Republic of San Marino

Conceived and organized by the San Marino Association Activelyoperating in the field of disability and which sees a privileged channel for social inclusion precisely in sport, the event will be a real whirlwind of emotions, with the use of go kart, motorcycle, minibike, quad, ape cross, car and much more, to put yourself to the test, always in and in the name of joy.
The protagonist again this year mototherapya support for traditional treatments invented and born from the Italian Vanni Odera, what are you making the world. In fact, as reported in recent studies published by the “European Journal of Integrative Medicine”, mototherapy brings obvious benefits to young people, as it is not a pure play experience, but a complementary therapy which improves the psychophysical state of the patient and his family.
Today many Italian hospitals appointment adopt this activity in the ward as a permanent one (Gaslini Hospital of Genoa, Santa Margherita of Turin, Pope John XXIII of Bergamo, Tumor Institute of Milan, just to name a few) to support young people with disabilities and their loved ones, or in the onset of a certain disease of theirs. Therefore, it has a double value: therapeutic and also for leisurefor these people, children and adults, most vulnerable.
San Marino will therefore experience for the second time days full of joy, adrenaline, emotions, but also moments to induce reflection. There will, in fact, a window on road educationin collaboration with the San Marino Police Forces and the Italian State Police, in order to make young future drivers aware of driving safely on the road, avoiding unnecessary distractions and dangers.
But not only that, the progressive precipitate of events in Ukraine, after the invasion of the Russian army, the huge catastrophe that has been generated and which continue to create suffering, death and destruction in that country, as only the wars and are still doing. in many other places in the world, have led the organizers to decide to underline in some way, in the context of the initiative, the value of peace and the emergency of affirming it.
Dedicate to the memory of Maurizio Taddeifriend of Attiva-Mente and the San Marino people, However… what a sight! is organized under the High Patronage of the Captains Regent of the Republic and with the patronage of the main Secretariats of State, as well as the City Council, with the support of numerous foundations and organizations, including the San Marino National Olympic Committee and the Community of San Marino citizens residing abroad, as well as with the collaboration of other associations of the nation of Monte Titano and numerous sponsors.

In addition to testing mototherapy with go karts, mini bikes, quads, rally cars, ape cross, people with disabilities will be able to try the thrill of an airplane and balloon flight (to try out all the activities inside the Village, a bracelet will be issued in exchange for 5 euros, valid for the whole day; the activities will be free for people with disabilities).

However… what a sight! therefore aims to replicate the success of the 2021 edition, with identical basic objectives: stimulate gracefully medical research on mototherapy and its promotion in the Republic of San Marino, through the resources present in the area and through the appropriate preparation of a team made up of volunteer pilots who can provide this type of performance. Finally, lit also the engines of solidarity: the proceeds deriving from the free offers will in fact be allocated to the Montetauro Social Cooperative of Coriano, which carries out a social-assistance-health service towards minors and adults with disabilities, minors and girls in serious socio-family situations, single mothers and immigrants, and children with disabilities assisted by the Pediatric Unit of the Social Security Institute of the Republic of San Marino.
