Slovenska Intereuropa H1 minus net profit up 15% year-on-year
LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 30 (SeeNews) – Slovenian logistician Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] posted a consolidated net profit of 3.2 million euros ($3.2 million) in the first half of 2022, up 15% from a year earlier, it said.
Consolidated profit before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) in the January-June period amounted to 7.4 million euros, which is 6 percent more than in the same period last year, Intereuropa wrote in Monday’s interim report.
Operating profit amounted to 4.2 million euros, which is a 13% increase compared to the first half of last year, and sales revenue increased to 98.3 million euros in the first half of 2022 from 87.2 million euros in the same period last year. .
“In the Intereuropa concern, we recorded growth in key business indicators in the first half of this year. In the future, in accordance with its strategic goals, the concern will ensure the smooth flow of goods as a key link in the entire supply chain and provide logistics. customer support along the entire supply chain, both in Slovenia and in the countries of South-Eastern Europe,” they wrote.
The group’s net debt amounted to EUR 39.7 million at the end of the first half of the year, and EUR 35.8 million at the end of 2021.
