FH Salzburg introduces Karin Motzko, the new head of “University Communication & Marketing”.
From September 1st, the communications and marketing expert Karin Motzko will be responsible for internal and external communications, marketing, the alumni network and the Career Center & Corporate Cooperation as department head and press officer at the Salzburg University of Applied Sciences.
“Knowledge culture is one of the megatrends in our society. The way we deal with information is changing. Education is becoming more digital. With joy and passion I accept the challenge of taking up this megatrend and the goals set by the designated managing director Dominik Engel with numerous communication and marketing measures. And with a great team,” explains Karin Motzko.
Dominik Engel, who will take over the management on September 1st, will focus on the areas of internationalization, interdisciplinarity and social permeability. Motzko relies on active reputation management, clear positioning and strategic brand management. Engel: “I am pleased to have found an expert in Karin Motzko. She will contribute her extensive know-how in the field of communication and marketing, so we are well positioned for the future.”
biography
After completing the AHS Matura, Mag. Karin Motzko (born 1974) completed the 2-year special course “Management for Tourism Organizations” in Klessheim. After that she did journalism and communication sciences and Italian at the University of Salzburg. Born in Lungau, she began her professional career as a consultant in well-known PR and advertising agencies in Salzburg. In 2002 she started her 20-year career as a communications manager at Salzburg AG for energy, transport and telecommunications. You are looking for a job as team leader “Communication Networks”, team leader Corporate Communications & Branding as well as famous head of the communications department. Most recently, Motzko built up the company’s newsroom as Head of Content and CvD. In the meantime she managed the marketing and communication department of the subsidiary MyElectric in Salzburg.
