Leonardo DiCaprio warns again about the fire scenario in Portugal
American actor Leonardo DiCaprio took to social media to raise awareness of the fire situation in Portugal.
In a post on Instagram, the actor published a text about climate change with a photograph of Pedrógão Grande after the fires of 2017.
“Young Portugal is fighting European governments to protect their territories and the extreme weather conditions, which were destroyed by weather above, from Pedrógão Grande, whose forests were destroyed in 2017 due to forest fires,” wrote DiCarpio.
The actor also underlines a way in which several young Portuguese activists are currently in court with the aim of ensuring a more sustainable future.
