Cracow. Nowa Huta moved to the Jagiellonian times for one day
On August Sunday, Nowa Huta will move for a moment to the reign of the Jagiellonians. For the last weekend of holidays, a family historical picnic was organized in the Zielony Jar Wandy Park. During the picnic, you could find a combination of this period, i.e. szciców, magnates or butchers. In addition, for the youngest, the organizers prepared a game during which users could learn about the professions of that period.
The Family Historical Picnic in Zielony Jar Wandy Park is scheduled for August 28. In addition to the settings of characters from the Jagiellonian period, in the place of the spaced positions, they were set up with reconstructions of history.
In addition, the picnic was attended by history lovers who told about the customs and professions of the old era. They learned how the participants ran in everyday life, how the nobility participated in each other, and how Jewish and Armenian merchants communicated.
The events were initiated by councilor Michał Drewnicki, who encouraged the residents of Nowa Huta to take picnics on social media.
