The King and Queen of Sweden have visited the Red Cross headquarters for an important matter.
King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia traveled to Södermalm’s headquarters to hear more about the organization’s efforts to help Ukraine.
The royal couple spoke with Swedish Red Cross delegate Louise Ulveland, who was recently stationed in Lviv, Ukraine. She is an expert in sanitation and water and helped with a project to improve the living conditions of the displaced people inside Ukraine.
They also visited the health center to talk to nurses who provide care to migrants who are outside society’s safety net.

An estimated 5,600 Ukrainian civilians have been killed in the invasion and another 7,900 have been injured. In addition, Ukraine has lost 10,000 soldiers, and at least 5,700 Russian soldiers have died.
