missiles destroyed 50+ Russian warehouses — UNIAN
The systems destroyed more than 50 warehouses with weapons and ammunition of the Russian occupiers.
All long-range salvo systems transferred by the West provide combat tasks at the front. The enemy did not destroy any installations.
This is reported by the Ministry of Defense Twitter.
“20+ Ukrainian HIMARS, M270 and MARS. All remain in service,” the message reads.
It is noted that the systems destroyed more than 50 warehouses with weapons and ammunition of the Russian occupiers.
The enemy regularly spreads fakes about the destruction of HIMARS facilities, but none of the statements of the Russian Ministry of Defense have been confirmed by either Ukraine or the United States.
The Pentagon has repeatedly praised the effective use of the system by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. To increase the number of enemy targets, the defenders launch missiles at a range of 70-80 km.
The war in Ukraine: current data
The Russians focused on capturing Donbas. In the morning of August 26, the General Staff announced the failed offensives of the Russian Federation in the direction of Soledar and Bakhmut.
The Institute for the Study of War states that the enemy’s advance has reached its climax: Russia cannot develop tactical successes in a wider operation.
The West is inclined to believe that the Russian-Ukrainian war will last at least a year, but it has already “actually reached a dead end.” In London, they believe that it is a war of “attrition”.
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine still cannot launch a counteroffensive due to the lack of adequate weapons, explained military expert Oleg Zhdanov. “The situation is deadlocked – the one who is the first to form reserves and transfer them to the front edge is the one who uses the advantage on the battlefield,” he reports.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine have already eliminated 46,250 residents since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation and thousands of units of enemy equipment.
