“A football for peace”, 16 adolescents from the Israeli-Palestinian area in San Marino
Two years later, “A football for peace” returns to the Republic of San Marino.
After the pandemic emergency, which has put the last two editions on stand-by, the San Marino summer returns to embrace “A football for peace”, a project promoted by the San Marino Football Federation in collaboration with the Universal Peace Foundation.
Sixteen adolescent boys, coming from the Israeli-Palestinian area and belonging to different confessional backgroundsthey will be guests in the San Marino territory until next Monday.
The project aims to encourage integration and dialogue through the game of football and the sharing of an experience abroad.
Landed late yesterday at Bologna airport, boys and instructors were accompanied by the FSGC in Repubblica, where they will stay for the entire weekend.
Today afternoon the first activities: once the physiological tiredness of the journey has been disposed of, at 3 pm the 16 boys will be involved in a training session at the “Federico Crescentini” stadium in Fiorentino, together with their peers from the San Marino Academy.

On the Saturday program, in addition to the lunch organized in the historic center of San Marino, another training session at the Montegiardino sports field.
A friendly match is scheduled for Sunday morning, together with San Marino and Italian peers from the San Marino Academy, before an afternoon of fun and entertainment at San Marino Adventures.
