Motorcycling, all the events scheduled from Saturday 27 August at the Gp of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera
The Gryfyn Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera on 4 September at the Misano World Circuit marks the return to the format with the great calendar of events in the area, which together with the sporting spectacle on the track has made the event successful since 2007, when the world championship returned permanently to Riders’ Land, the heart of the Motor Valley.
Fans, in addition to intervening on the lawns and stands of Marco Simoncelli, will be able to approach the event by breathing the crisp air generated by the events that will be organized on the territory and on the circuit.
There really is something for everyone: from the media event of San Marino (31 August), with the pilots on the football field of the Montecchio Sports Center a stone’s throw from the historic center of San Marino (free admission), then Riders Tribe at the Cocoricò in Riccione (Saturday 27 August), the exhibition ‘The roots of the Land of the Knights’ a Rimini (from 27 August), which will be accompanied by the preview of the documentary ‘Minimoto Revolution’ (Cinema Fulgor, 31 August).
On 1 September a MWC there will be a workshop dedicated to a reflection on the communication of pilots, a stage of the approach to the FIM Awards 2022 scheduled in Rimini in December. An authentic first fruit will follow, the presentation of a new two-year ITS post-diploma course to prepare mechanics to be included in motorcycle teams.

WORLD CIRCUIT 50 YEARS OF MISANO IN AN EDITORIAL WORK: 50 YEARS OF RACING. 1972-2022 ‘
The series of events designed to celebrate 50 years of Misano World Circuit in 2022 is enriched with the most precious pearl.
On Friday 2 September at 6.30 pm, in the new Pit Building, the presentation of ’50 years of racing 1972-2022 ‘work created by Giorgio Nada Editore and Misano World Circuit.
During the weekend of the Gryfyn Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera, the history of the first fifty years of life of the track on the Adriatic coast will be retraced, in the Riders’ Land, the heart of the Motor Valley of Emilia-Romagna . The volume was produced in collaboration with the Center for Advanced Studies on Tourism of the University of Bolognaedited by Marco Montemaggio with the contribution of scientific Committee composed of Marco MasettiSergio Remondino, Luigi Rivola, Davide Bagnaresi, Andrea Albani. The cover was made by Aldo DrudI.
RIDE TO FIM AWARDS
On Thursday 1 September at MWC a moving workshop is scheduled by the FIM – International Motorcycling Federation in collaboration with FMI and Misano World Circuit which will focus on building the professionalism of the riders of the future, training communication skills both towards the media and in your work environment. Journalists, sports managers of international motorcycling and riders’ Land MotoGP riders will address the various aspects of communication, giving indications and advice to an audience of very young riders and theirs.
This event is the first moment of Run to the FIM awardsthe series of appointments to arrive towards the great end-of-season event, wanted by FIM, with the assembly and the awards ceremony of the world champion drivers scheduled in Rimini in December.
ITS MAKER – MOTO, THE FIRST COURSE DEDICATED TO SPORT MOTORCYCLING
A WORLD CIRCUIT OF MISANO
On Thursday morning, 1 September, at Misano World Circuit the ITS Meccanica Foundation of the Emilia-Romagna Region will present a new course in “Sports and electric motorcycle”Movement in collaboration with Misano World Circuit, FMI – Italian Motorcycling and Garage 51.
Furthermore, with the fundamental support of Confindustria Romagna and its training institution Assoform, it will manage the educational organization in agreement with ITS MAKER.
This is the first in Italy dedicated to motorcycling and will have the Misano World Circuit as its headquarters. Registrations will be open until October 14th.
The course will train higher endothermic and electric motorcycle and motosport technicians, who will be able to operate as production technicians, technical office and R&D in industrial companies producing motorcycles or components, after-sales assistance and customization of motorcycles, technicians of sports teams, commissioners of paddock and circuit. During the MotoGP weekend, an information box will be activated in the garage 51 workshop at MWC Square within the circuit. Like all ITS Maker courses, there is a two-year training period with 2,000 hours of lessons, of which 40% internships in the company, with teachers from companies and the world of motorcycling.
A PHILATELIC CANCEL DEDICATED TO MISANO’S 50TH WORLD CIRCUIT
Sunday 4 September, from 9.15 to 14.45, MWC will host a post office (Tribuna C area) where a philatelic cancellation dedicated to the 50th birthday of Misano World Circuit.
Inside, a box with six postcards will be on sale, dedicated to events of each decade, in addition to the stickers with the 50th anniversary logo. It will also be possible to purchase the single postcard, place the special stamp cancellation and send it from inside the racetrack.
GREEN CIRCUIT OF MISANO: FROM SATURDAY 3 SEPTEMBER A NEW CHARGING STATION FOR ELECTRIC CARS AND MOTORCYCLES
Misano World Circuit runs towards the energy transition. A new one will be inaugurated on Saturday 3 September at 11.00 near Piazza MWC charging station made by Atlante, a company of the NHOA Group (NHOA.PA, formerly Engie EPS). The Atlante charging infrastructure will be accessible all year round and can be identified on the main eMSPs. It will consist of 3 columns (1 150kW fast-charging DC column and 2 2x22kW fast-charging AC columns) for a total of 6 charging points. The DC column is equipped with 2 CCS2 connectors, while the AC columns are equipped with 2 type 2 connectors.
