UNITA only received two credentials from delegates on the list in Lisbon and Porto
“AND“We are complaining about Lisbon and Porto saying that they voted for two credentials”, said David Horácio Junjuvili, projecting that the Portuguese capital is precisely the place where Angolan residents abroad go.
More than 14 million Angolans will choose, on Wednesday, a new president of the Republic and representatives in the National Assembly, in general, who, for the first time, have the vote of citizens in the diaspora.
“(In Lisbon) we have 15 delegates on the list and they say they only received two credentials and in Porto four gave us any indication we have and they arrived as non-credentials”, said the UNITA official.
“This cannot be understood, because the National Electoral Commission (CNE) was obliged to send all credentials abroad in a timely manner”, he criticized.
The representative of the Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, South Africa, Namibia and Zambia were also sent today as credentials to party delegates in African countries (Democratic Republic of Congo, Congo, South Africa, Namibia and Zambia) a request that , accredited, will be granted and may also be a solution for Portugal
According to Horácio Junvili, as the credentials were sent late for UNITA to have been replaced by a delegate after the CNE of non-conformities of the CNE, specifically lack of registration in the electoral register of these constituencies.
UNITA also submitted a request to the CNE to excuse members of Cabinda from the presidency of polling stations.
In the letter addressed to the plenary of the CNE, the campaign representative warns that the president of the polling stations, a vice provincial governor, provincial secretaries and other prominent members of the Cabinda provincial government, activists with relevant notoriety in the campaign and members leaders of the local MPLA, applicants who are purged from the list of citizens hired by the CNE.
The eight political formations compete, having been elected and out of 200,000 registered, more than 200,000 delegates on the list, who monitor and supervise the election results.
