San Marino. Juvenes-Dogana, goals and experiments against the Juniores of Pietracuta
Amati tries 4-3-3 and 4-3-2-1 in the second friendly, won 11-0. Triplet per Column
It was a not proving test, but certainly useful for experimenting and starting to implement schemes and mechanisms seen in training. In the second friendly match of the pre-season, Juvenes-Dogana beat the Juniores of Pietracuta 11-0, with goals scored from the 25th minute of the first half onwards. Both Colonna, with a hat-trick, and Merli, authors of the two goals that the biancorossoblù had scored in the 2-2 draw against the Marignanese Academy, during the first match in August, still scored. Doubles for Salvemini, taken from Pietracuta this year, and D’Angeli; on the net also Meluzzi, Pasquinelli and Lisi.
Compared to the one with the Marignanese Academy, the opponent was softer, for age and defender issues, but he fielded several young players from the important physical category, holding up well the impact, on a defensive level, in the initial part. Then the difference in values emerged and Juvenes-Dogana did what they had to: score, a lot, to start getting used to scoring goals, as requested by Manuel Amati. The coach tested 4-3-3 and 4-3-2-1, modules that host two different types of players to support the center forward: wings in the first attacking midfielders in the second. With both sides, the team has given good signals, confirming the flexibility of the players in the squad, who, according to Amati himself, are moving towards a state of physical fitness that will allow them to get ready for the first championship.
