Çeşme ‘parcel by parcel’ for İzmir’s ‘Canal Istanbul’
WALL – With the “Çeşme Tourism Project”, which will be built by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and introduced as İzmir’s “Canal Istanbul”, 50 percent of the Çeşme Peninsula has started to be rented.
According to the news of Mehmet Inmez from Cumhuriyet Tender for three hotels out of 200 hotels in the project has been made.
Tender announcement was made on 17 July for a hotel with 300, 650 and 1000 beds on a land worth seaside. The Ministry put the producers in the tender to submit their bids by 19 August at the latest. After the project announced two years ago, the land prices were learned four or five times. Some foreign investors, some citizens in the high market lands will also start the “Çeşme Project” advertisements.
Cesme Environment Platform Sözc Ahmet Güler said, “The aim is to open the relationship to supporters and foreigners. Sale of ranta plots to concrete capital. Cesme Tourism Project is no different from Kanal Istanbul,” he said.
