We are “clumsy”! … Happy to be
Our desire for dialogue or dialogue with all the institutions can be demonstrated by the documents or protocols we have produced. Specifically, already in February 2021, our prot. 022/2021 / USC sent to the Secretariat, the Office and the Tourism Department, we asked for event calendars, resolutions, allocations, expense items, the number of events and reference balance sheets. Inside we quoted textual words: “This is to better evaluate and harmonize the document and future collaborations as far as the competence of our association is concerned with the Tourism Secretariat”. At the moment we do not list all the vicissitudes or documents produced but on this occasion we want to focus on the topics covered in the meeting that took place on May 21, 2021 accompanied by prot. 047/2021 / USC of May 24, 2021 sent to the Secretariat and Tourism Department which we thank again for the attention given to us. The topics covered are as follows: – Indication or improvement of hospitality for anyone who transits or visits our country starting from the state borders up to the first Tower. – use and rental of the Info Points, also occupying the children of our linguistic high school. – Modernization of signage by implementing it, where possible, with travel times especially in the historic center. – Numbering of bus stops throughout the Republic. – Arrangement of the lifts and the state of the art of the works in progress. – for 2022 it was proposed a transport with continuous and circular shuttles from the village to the historic center, also wanting to start from the baldasserona parking lot, in order to provide a service to both residents and visiting tourists. – At what point was the Baldasserona redevelopment and refurbishment project. – evaluation of issuing shuttle + cable car + museum tickets, a “card” or other. – Petulanza. – With regard to the “fashion pole”, the state of the art of the synergies between Rovereta and the rest of the country or the historic center was asked and whether there were any promotions, advertising or Info Points present on site as announced by the Institutions in previous years . – Services to tourists or users: public toilets or services, improvement of street furniture such as benches, street cleaning and opening of all museums at least until 20:30, especially in summer. – how to activate the payment systems in the car parks. – if there was a shared desire to install piped music or music throughout the historic center, in the main squares and to reuse the existing lights as per our prot. USC 094/2020 – ask for information on the international bus line Rimini San Marino – What were the dissemination channels to advertise the proposals of tourism in order to better promote our country. – Parking and tariffs management. – Events functional to all activities. Localization of events. Costs / benefits and how they are evaluated. An improvement in gastronomy as it is of fundamental importance to create mobility. To date, we are still waiting for a discussion on the desire to concretize some of the themes proposed by us in 2021. As can be seen from the titles of the document, the intent of the San Marino Commerce and Tourism Union is to consider the country system as a whole and not a watertight compartments “choosing” the topics to be treated. If asking for collaborations, facing and concreteness for the community is considered “clumsy”, we are happy to be “clumsy”. Thank you!
