Bundesliga: Individual review after Eintracht Frankfurt game against Cologne
Kevin Trap : Again not a Bundesliga game to zero this season. When Jan Uwe Thielmann made it 1-1 because of the obstructed view, he didn’t have the right reaction or a chance to defend himself. Challenged once in the first half, once on the spot against Sargis Adamyan’s shot.
Kristian Jakic : With a new, unusual task – this time the midfielder was a right-back in the newly formed back four. Missed the possible 2:1. Resolute and strong in tackles, but too many passes didn’t arrive.
tuta: In game structure from time to time with inaccuracies. But cleared once in dire need for a corner. Gained more confidence as time went on.
Evan Ndicka: Strong in the air and with a good overview. Present. After recent weaker performances with sovereign performance.
Luca Pellegrini: Coach Glasner immediately nominated the newcomer for the starting XI. Active, self-confident, with a heel trick and a good overview. Useful game shift with a long pass to the right side. Dared to do something with a long-range shot, also scored a free kick. Got a round of applause when he was substituted.
Sebastian Rode: Also enthusiastic in his 200th Bundesliga game. A lot on the go and often playable. With ball conquests, but not every action he wanted to succeed for the benefit of his teams.
Djibril sow: Attentive in midfield, with a lot of running. Fell to the ground yelling in anger after the referee called him a foul.
Jesper Lindstrom: Missed the 1-0 early in the second half. Nimble and with good approaches. However, his dynamism and zest for action are not followed by a successful end product. His cross balls and passes also have to get better.
Mario Götze : In the mood to play. Demanded the balls and distributed them. Received applause as he fought for a ball. Performance increase compared to the past Bundesliga games.
Randal Kolo Muani: Stuck in the first eleven. After a good 20 minutes with the first powerful attack action. Overall, not as noticeable as in the first games. Too often he lacks assertiveness and the eye for his teammates.
Rafael Borre : Back in the starting lineup. As always with the highest level of commitment and a large radius of action. Didn’t do anything worthwhile up front though.
Ansgar Kna uff: Replaced Rode but failed with a header save in the middle to make it 1-1.
Luke Alario : Came into play for Borré. At the forefront without a chance to score.
Daichi Kamada : Replaced Lindström and immediately played the leading role: scored a remarkable free-kick to make it 1-0. His fourth competitive goal. The Japanese is the most successful shooter. Dribbled hard forward once more. But he failed to score a second goal.
Christopher Lenz : Was allowed to run for Pellegrini. The fighter nature worked with.
Farid Alidou : Took over for Kolo Muani, but remained without any significant action.
