Diocese: San Marino-Montefeltro, at the beginning of September the Summer school on “Sorella pace” at the Augustinian Monastery of Pennabilli
“Sister rhythm – Young people. Paths for a possible fraternity ”. This is the title of the Summer School to be held at the beginning of September at the Augustinian Monastery of Pennabilli. This is a training course recognized by Miur as a refresher course, which involves the diocese of San Marino-Montefeltro, the Youth Observatory of the Toniolo Institute and the Higher Institute of Religious Sciences “A. Marvelli ”of the dioceses of Rimini and San Marino-Montefeltro.
“Sister peace”, explain the promoters, “is our dream and our commitment as women and men who believe in fraternity and day after day, despite the effort, try to realize it, in the belief that it is our deepest identity. In these times, troubled by the winds of war, we believe that peace needs new supporters, people who, with the means at their disposal, work to build relationships, families, communities, institutions that live in peace and are willing to do their part to promote it ”. From this was born the Summer school “Sister Peace” which will start on the morning of September 2 with the debate led by the pedagogist Paola Bignardi on “Peace and war: what do young people think?”. In the afternoon the participants will talk with Don Matteo Prodi, of the Theological Faculty of Emilia-Romagna, on “Reading political, economic and social changes”. The day of Saturday 3 September will be dedicated to biblical-symbolic paths starting from the encyclical Fratelli tutti which will be led by Fr Davide Arcangeli and Fr Marco Casadei of the ISSR “A. Marvelous “. The evening will be reserved for contemplation and prayer in Piazza V. Emanuele II.
The morning of Sunday 3 September will open with the activity “Let’s write our words of peace together. Creation of a collective cultural product ”led by Paola Bignardi. At 12, the Eucharistic celebration presided over by the diocesan bishop, Msgr. Andrea Turazzi.
