Concerts Marina di Pisa 16-20 August 2022 Events in Pisa
Great music is back on the Pisan coast again for the summer of 2022, thanks to the ‘Marenia NonSoloMare’ billboard. From 16 to 20 August, some of the most interesting exponents of new Italian music will go up on the stage in Piazza delle Baleari in Marina di Pisa (beginning at 9.30pm) such as Michele Bravi (Tuesday 16), Motta (Wednesday 17), The Kolors (Friday 19) ), and a great classic like Mario Biondi (Thursday 18). The last evening will be dedicated to the final evening of the ‘Summer talent show’ started by the newspaper La Nazione. All appointments are free admission.
Tuesday 16 August, concert by Michele Bravi who, for the Pisan stage, proposes his ‘Zodiaco Tour’, a live project that takes its name from the songwriter’s latest single, ‘Zodiaco’. “The connection between what happens in heaven and what happens on earth is an ancient mystery. Man by convention and perhaps by necessity has divided the sky into 12 parts, each of these parts aimed at telling a constellation, mainly a constellation of animals (bull, ram, fish …). Hence ‘zodiac’, the path of animals around the sky. ‘Zodiaco’ written by Federica Abbate, Davide Petrella and Francesco Catittiche, who also oversaw the production, is a consciously light tempo that, from the very first notes, allows the listener to immerse himself in the carefree mood characteristic of the summer period. “A Sagittarius like me did not want to deny the positive and enthusiastic energy with which astrology describes the winking story of a consciously light piece that is the direct consequence of it”.
Wednesday 17 August will be the occasion to celebrate the return home of an artist who has now firmly conquered a national audience: Motta. After the success of the tour in the clubs that for the Pisan singer-songwriter represented almost a homecoming for him, Motta returns this summer live with a summer tour with which he is touring Italy, with the set in full band, so live his musical path from 2016 to today. Together with Motta (vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion), Cesare Petulicchio (drums), Giorgio Maria Condemi (guitars), Carmine Iuvone (cello), Matteo Scannicchio (keyboards / electronics) and Francesco Chimenti (bass / cello) will take the stage.
Thursday 18 August will be the turn of Mario Biondi, after the success of the international dates and the tour in theaters, the live journey continues on the most important summer stages with the ‘Romantic live summer 2022’. Biondi will propose his most famous songs and those contained in his new album ‘Romantic’ released on March 18th. ‘Romantic’ is a project entirely dedicated to love in all its forms, from the couple bond to the fraternal one, to the love for parents and children. Romanticism understood in its various declinations is the common thread of the 12 tracks on CD and 15 tracks in music boxes and LPs, which make up this album, specifically 6 in digital and 9 main reinterpretations from the international repertoire.
NB THE CONCERT BY MARIO BIONDI WAS CANCELED DUE TO BAD WEATHER
Friday 19 August, to close the cycle of concerts, will be The Kolor, the trio composed by Antonio Stash Fiordispino (vocals and guitar), Alex Fiordispino (drums and percussion) and Daniele Mona (synthesizer and percussion) in business since 2010. The band has three albums and several singles to their credit, including the very recent ‘Blackout’. Over the years they have established themselves as one of the most successful groups in Italy and will certainly represent a moment of great attraction for the younger public on the Pisan coast.
Saturday 20 August the show in Piazza Baleari in Marina di Pisa continues with the final of the ‘Summer Talent Show 2022’. The Summer Talent Show is a showcase that offers the opportunity to show off and show off your talent. It wants to be a festival of aspiring singers, dancers, magicians, athletes, jugglers, stand-up comedians, imitators, models, actors. After a long journey of that date and many aspiring artists from Pisa, it is the last stage, where the best will compete for the final victory.
