Cooperation. The FH Graubünden works together with the University of Innsbruck.
The University of Applied Sciences Graubünden (FHGR) and the University of Innsbruck signed a cooperation agreement on Thursday. The Tyrol and the canton of Graubünden are alpine regions and therefore have things in common that one would like to use. The aim is to jointly develop the Alpine region.
In the future, the two training centers want to work together in the areas of construction and infrastructure, tourism, public entrepreneurship, information management and data science. The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed in Innsbruck on Thursday, the FHGR wrote in a statement on Friday.
The cooperation includes topics in the construction and economic sectors, tourism topics with a special focus on the Alpine region, but also community leadership as well as militia and volunteer work. In the technical area, simulation and high-performance computing are currently in the foreground. Further cooperations are already planned.
“This international cooperation with the University of Innsbruck broadens our perspective when it comes to solving social challenges in the Alpine region,” said Jürg Kessler, Rector of the FHGR.
