Mask men attack casino in Salzburg – Salzburg
Two armed men attacked a slot machine casino in Pongau on Friday night. The search for the perpetrators is ongoing.
At around 1:30 a.m. on August 5, two previously unknown men entered a slot machine casino in Pongau. Both perpetrators were armed and masked in black balaclavas. They threatened an employee by pointing a gun at him and demanded money.
One of the perpetrators takes the clerk into the vault and forces him to put the contents of the vault into a backpack he was carrying. The second perpetrator kept the four guests present and the second employee under control by pointing the gun.
After the money was handed over, the two perpetrators fled on foot in an unknown direction. An immediately initiated search has so far been unsuccessful. The investigation is ongoing.

Perpetrator 1: male, 17 to 23 years old, between 170 and 180 cm tall, slim, he was wearing training pants, a black hooded sweater, gloves (work gloves), black balaclava with slits, black sneakers with a white “Nike” symbol, rotator-rangy, slightly faded backpack, black pistol, spoke German with a foreign accent.
Perpetrator 2: male, slim, black balaclava, dark jacket, dark sweatpants with white vertical stripes, spoke German with a foreign accent.
