Government will pay members of Lisbon Porto polling stations in January – Observer
The Ministry of Internal Administration announced this Thursday that it will transfer next week to the municipalities of Lisbon and Porto the members of the district of the legislative polling stations that functioned in the elections of last years.
In response to the Lusa agency, the Ministry of Internal Administration (MAI) states that its secretary-general will download for payment to the people who performed functions in those two constituencies, which cover 18 municipalities in the district of Porto and the 16 municipalities in the Lisbon district.
O MAI justifies the delay of about seven months with the twelfths regime that came into force after the fall of the Government and the entry into force of the new State Budget for 2022.
In force from the entry of the State to 2022, on June 28, accounting adjustments and interesting compatibility operations have been processed so that they can be carried out as transfers of funds already mentioned ”, says the note from the MAI, in response to the Lusa.
The ministry explains that, until the entry into force of the State Budget for 2022, the Transitional Budget was in force.
Budget, states that, still under the Transitional duodeci and the twelfth regime, it was possible to download the values referring to the members of the bureaus constituted abroad and to the elements of the counting and counting tables of the citizens residing abroad.
In the same context, the national territory of Madeira was also possible for the members of the table belonging to the Autonomous Regions of the Azores and the districts of Madeira and the districts of Braga, Bragança, Faro, Guarda, Leiria, Portalegre, Santarém, Setúbal, Viana do Castelo , Vila Real and Viseu.
