OM Mercato: A young striker leaves Marseille
Despite its financial difficulties, the management of Olympique de Marseille is still working silently to attract new additional reinforcements. OM leaders have already managed to sign seven rookie summer months and work behind the scenes to complete the signing ofAlexis Sanchez. Negotiations would be on very good track between the different parties. To facilitate the transfer of the Chilean international, the Marseille club will nevertheless have to part with a few attackers.
The names of Bamba Dieng, Cédric Bakambu and Konrad De la Fuente are cited among the potential starters. But before completing these possible departures, the management of OM has just separated from a young striker. Daouda Gueyewho played so far with the reserve of the Marseille team, will indeed continue his career in National 2. The 26-year-old striker has signed up with theUS Creteil-Lusitanos, after terminating his last year of contract with OM. The Val-de-Marne club has just formalized its transfer via its official website. “Arrived from Olympique de Marseille, striker Daouda Gueye arrives in Val-de-Marne”can we read in the press release of the club.
OM Mercato: Daouda Gueye, a serious offensive asset for US Créteil
Arrived in August 2021 from Rodez FC, Daouda Gueye never had the opportunity to express his potential in the first team of Olympique de Marseille. The young Senegalese striker still produced very promising performances with the OM reserve, where he finished best last season (12 goals scored in 21 N2 games). After a season spent with the Phocaeans, the young center-forward will therefore continue his rise at US Créteil-Lusitanos, who will be able to count on a serious offensive asset for the coming season.
