In the Borelli stand at the Stade Michel d’Ornano (Caen), he is one of the most famous faces. For many years, within the Malherbe Normandy Kop (MNK), Seb Toussaint has been giving voice during the various home matches at Stade Malherbe.
“I have been a supporter of Stade Malherbe since I was 10 years old (1998), and a member of MNK96 since 2004-2005, recalls the principal concerned. I have always been in Tribune Borrelli, or “Popular B” as it was called at the time. I started to support the club when we were playing very badly and getting bogged down in the 2nd division. Nevertheless I loved it, the atmosphere first of all and the fact of seeing the players in real life! »
Rankovic as favorite player
Alongside his role in the MNK, the supporter is a renowned street artist. In particular, he designed the spans of Ornano and a textile collection in partnership with the SMC.
During his 24 years of support, Seb Toussaint has seen many players valued under the blue and red colors of Malherbe. But if he had to keep just one, he would turn to a Serb who spent at the club between 2003 and 2005. “My favorite player remains Ljubisa Rankovic, both for his left foot, but also, because I sympathized with the man and he’s a great guy! I went to see him in Belgrade after his playing career. For the rest, apart from Luc Borrelli, I have only selected players that I have seen play. »
Seb Toussaint’s XI: Luc Borrelli, Cédric Hengbart, Franck Dumas, Aziz Ben Askar, Raphaël Guerreiro, Nicolas Seube, Benjamin Nivet, N’Golo Kanté, Ljubisa Rankovic, Youssef El Arabi, Cyrille Watier.
