Participation is allowed only by booking at the link https://molosanvincenzo.grandenapoli.it/.
The walk is free.
The initiative aims to rediscover an area of the Neapolitan waterfront, accessible again after many years. Visitors will be able to retrace the stages and the history of the place that for years has been one of the nerve centers of the city, explore the glimpses and beauties of the space designed by Domenico Fontana, such as the Lighthouse, known as the Lanterna del Molo. At the end of the pier there is also a statue of San Gennaro, defender of the city from Vesuvius and of the sea. The Molo San Vincenzo is part of the history of Naples. Seat of the Royal Navy of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, ships were launched there and royalties were made. Until the Second World War it was an important defensive outpost which housed the arsenal and a dry dock.
