Cracow. Ukrainian artists use art to fight. An unusual exhibition and auction of works
Nearly 160 works by Ukrainian artists were placed at the “Fight with Art” charity auction. Pictures, graphics and printed drawings and drawings can be donated online all year round and to aid organizations supporting in Ukraine. The works can be seen on the website and live in Krakow.

Paintings, drawings and drawings from all over Ukraine, from Lviv and Kiev, through the Carpathians and Dnieper, to Mauriopol and Kharkiv. Many of the collected works directly refer to the events taking place in Ukraine during the war, they are an artistic record of experiences, a reaction to war events. Others tell about a Ukrainian marked by politics and a conflict that has lasted for years.

A dozen or so paintings were provided by Anna Kostenko, an artist from Kiev with Polish-Ukrainian-Russian roots, living and broadcasting in Poland since 1991. Anna Kostenko’s works were future in Europe at individual and collective exhibitions.
Diana Berg’s work Mariupol also found its way to Krakow. Its author is a co-creation of a refugee. The artist was born in Donetsk, where she lived and worked until 2014. The works can be viewed in the gallery of the Róża Wroniszewska Auction House, located at ul. Siemiradzkiego 13 and in Dworek Białoprądnicki. The auction takes place on the website www.fightwithart.com and will last until the end of August.
Income from the auction will be used to pay fees for the sponsors of the organization and to support charities to ensure the transport of funds to Ukraine and to save the funds there.
