On Sunday 31 July in the mountainous setting of the Italian Alps, a delegation of athletes from San Marino took part in the fourth stage of the “High Speed League” at the International Athletics Meeting in the famous Sestriere track.
A meeting where the most famous athletes of world athletics have raced in the past.
Three San Marino athletes took part, followed by their coaches, competing for their respective clubs.

Tall Speed League is a meeting circuit dedicated to speed on track which has made the sprint the great protagonist of a chain of races that has touched various Italian regions. The spirit of the League is to win the final standings, a way to make everyone, from the first to the last participant, feel protagonists and potential winners of the final prize.
During the event the federal director Nicola Selva began a confrontation to organize also in San Marino a meeting within a circuit in order to bring also to the Republic a high participation of athletes of great technical quality, thus enhancing the characteristics of the numerous sprinters of ours in the San Marino track, one of the fastest in Emilia Romagna.
