Alende, Jadro and Jacobo take a “step forward”
Diego Alende, Jandro Orellana and Jacobo Gonzalez they are already ‘home’. This Monday, after the stay that the Andorran first team made in Girona, the latest signings of the tricolor club were presented and they all exuded enthusiasm and ambition. The three confessed that they did not hesitate to sign when the project was presented to them and it is that “It shows that you want to grow. They do everything for and for the player”, explained Jacobo.
The first to speak at the Morabanc headquarters was Alende. “As soon as I saw that Andorra contacted me showing confidence in me and it is very important for a player. That’s why I come here. It’s the right step forward”, he explained and then gave way to Jandro Orellana. The midfielder arrived free from Barcelona B and what convinced him was that “I knew Eder Sarabia’s DNA and his idea of the style of play is very much in line with what I’ve done all my life. In addition, my time in the subsidiary had already ended, I wanted to progress in my career, play professional football. With this project, so attractive that it is being revealed and so ambitious, it was a key step in my career and that is what I have done”. Finally, it was the turn of Jacobo González. After a year in the First RFEF, with Sabadell, he returned to the Second Division and detected that “it was time to return to the category. The project is what convinced us all”.
On the other hand, Jaume Nogués, tricolor director, took advantage of sports to assess the market and was clear in stating that they still expect to make between four and six signings: “We are finding that as it is the first year in the Second Division it is difficult to find the player profiles we want, but the squad is becoming more competitive and we are happy. We are looking for players with hunger, ambition and a desire to grow”.
