Gonzalo Sapiña relaunches his academy despite continuing to be charged for allegedly fraud
There are no two without three nor three without four if it is an alleged scammer who has been arrested and reported on several occasions. GNZ Academythe trading school of a well-known influencer residing in Andorra has resumed its activity despite the fact that the Interpol in collaboration with Mossos d’Esquadra maintain an open investigation for an alleged crime of fraud and fraud.
Since the explosion of the pandemic, scams related to trading academies, cryptocurrencies and ponzi systems have skyrocketed. Just a few days ago we learned about a massive pyramid scheme known as JuicyFields that in Spain has captured more than 50,000 people. With the false promise of guaranteed returns, customers invested in marijuana plants and received part of the profits for three months until the founders disappeared with tens of millions of euros without a trace.
The case that concerns us now is that of gonzalo sapina, known in the networks as GNZTrading and that has relaunched its forex trading academy despite the fact that it has several open cases with the justice system. He is still striking because several anonymous sources have contacted the ADSLZone newsroom and have sent us information that confirms that this person has allegedly been committing crimes since 2012.
The modus operandi is the same as always, from social networks the alleged victim “capturer” begins to show a dream life with high-end cars, luxury hotels and ends up explaining that everything is thanks to trading. From that moment on, he tries to gain the trust of the possible interested parties until they end up paying for a service that they either do not receive or that is far from being a profitable method as advertised. Victims are also often trapped in dubious brokers that pay very large commissions to the “capturer” but then make it difficult for those affected to withdraw funds.
Offending for 10 years
On May 15, 2012, Gonzalo Sapiña received the first complaint from AFS for alleged fraud and threats. The complainant contracted the services to carry out a series of works on a web page and it was never carried out. From there, the threats began, as shown in part of the statement to which he has had access to this portal.
The May 8, 2017Gonzalo is denounced again, in this case because he was selling products over the Internet that he later did not send to his clients. The website in question was pilaten.es (now inactive) and it suggested beauty products, etc. On September 28 of that same year, a new complaint for the same reason on the same website. In October 2019, he also accumulated several complaints for similar events, selling products at very low prices, but not sending them to buyers. As they are brought in very small amounts, possibly the number of complaints was limited since one person per 20 or 30 euros He does not usually appear in court.
Starting in 2020 and in the midst of a pandemic, GNZ Trading makes its “particular August” thanks to its trading academy where it buys several high-end cars and a house in Andorra called a “trading house” where it carries out operations. On Instagram, she has more than 75,000 followers and daily shows her luxuries and her dream life. Months later the first complaints begin to be filed and as ADSLZone has verified, more than 150 people proceed legally against Gonzalo.
One day today the investigation is still open and as we have been informed, arrests are expected in the coming months despite the fact that GNZ Trading has re-launched its service and is now available through gnzacademy.com.
