Portugal 19.9 billion from Brussels until knowledge received within the scope of PT 2020
The European Commission transferred, until June published, to Portugal 19,963 million euros, as interim payments, more than two thirds of the amount programmed in Portugal 2020, according to the latest bulletin of European Commission funds, this Thursday.

At the end of June, Portugal, with the Czech Republic and Lithuania, had the highest rate of interim payments, among the countries with the largest financial envelopes (above 7 billion euros), with seven percentage points above the European average (6 , 7%).
In all Member States, the amount transferred to Portugal is the fifth largest, below Poland, Italy, France and Spain, which have higher financial envelopes than Portugal.
The European Commission transferred €322,364 million to the Member States, 6.2% of which went to Portugal.

The million beneficiaries, at the end of June, amounted to 21,030 euros of funds, equivalent to 78% of the total endowment of PT 2020 funds.
Of particular note here are the areas of competitiveness and internationalization (6,571 million euros), human capital (3,98 million euros) and rural development (3,692 million euros).
In terms of funds, the largest volume of payments verified in the FEDER – Regional Development Fund, with 273 million euros compared to March.
According to this document, at the end of the first half of the year, 20,300 million euros of funds and 30,900 million euros were approved.
With a global PT programming of around 26 billion euros, the program of the partnership agreement between Portugal and the European Commission, “in which the principles are established and consists of a programming agreement for the economic, social and territory of Portugal, between 2014 and 2020”.
The first PT 2020 program tenders were opened in 2015.
