Haslauer for the end of the quarantine obligation

Salzburg’s governor Wilfried Haslauer (ÖVP) is counting on the end of the quarantine regulations for people infected with CoV. The relaxation is acceptable. Consultations between the federal and state governments did not bring a decision on Monday. The end of the quarantine should be determined on Wednesday after the summer council of ministers.
Should infected people only be restricted to traffic in the future and be allowed to move freely with an FFP2 mask? allowed to go to work? The federal government supports such a solution.
Red heads of state outraged
When asked by ORF, the office of Governor Wilfried Haslauer said: We take note of the government’s plans, understand the arguments and are not against a relaxation of the regulations. From an economic point of view, too, the solution is “absolutely understandable”, the easing should also make sense from a scientific point of view and be justifiable for medical experts. According to Haslauer, a uniform regulation throughout Austria is particularly important. But that could be difficult.
The SPÖ-led state governments of Vienna, Carinthia and Burgenland had already criticized the plans in advance. The decision on new regulations and a possible end to the quarantine obligation is to be announced in the Summer Council of Ministers on Wednesday.
