England XI vs Sweden: Starting line-up, confirmed team news, latest injury ahead of Women’s EC semi-final today
Record scorer Ellen White’s tough night in front of goal against Spain had led to Alessia Russo being asked to come off the bench, but White gets the nod again.
The Manchester United forward has made just one start for the Lionesses after appearing 10 times as a substitute for her country – and has said she is happy to continue in the role of super-sub.
“When I get a chance, I’m going to take it, whether it’s as a starter or on the bench,” Russo said Standard Sport.

“I’m just happy to be here and continue to perform for the team and get results in a big tournament. We have incredible talent in the dressing room, it’s just important to help as much as I can.”
Wiegman is yet to make any changes to his starting line-up throughout the tournament, with Ella Toone and Chloe Kelly once again having to settle for roles off the bench.
At left-back, Rachel Daly keeps her place despite a tough night against Spain in the quarter-finals.
