Belarus continues to implement logistics schemes for the export of products – Ministry of Transport
MINSK, July 26 – PrimePress. The Belarusian transport system is emerging in the face of changed supply chains and is working on reformatting and rebuilding conventional routes. This was stated by the Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus Aleksey Avramenko at a meeting on the issue of an alternative logistics scheme for shipments of export products,
informs press service of the Ministry of Transport.
“Currently, a number of issues in this part have been resolved and some are still being worked out. We have to suddenly face the technical problems that our exporters and forwarders face, which are related to logistics approaches,” Avramenko said. He also added that he is working on signing an agreement on the transshipment of Belarusian cargo through the northern and southern ports of Russia. Issuance of additional permits for domestic road carriers is being discussed with a number of countries.
Alexander Nevmerzhitsky, Head of the Freight Operation and Foreign Economic Activity Service of the Belarusian Railways, noted that, taking into account the reorientation of export freight flows, the demand for transportation is in eastern adaptation. The railroad is actively exploring alternative routes. “Another promising segment is the maintenance of one container transport. This is a direction that has gained serious momentum in recent years,” he said.
In the field of automotive perception of transport, the vector of logistics to the east has also changed (China, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Georgia, etc.). “Joint solutions, including taking into account the diversification of dimensions, to build high-quality logistics. “Today it is possible to create such a system, which, probably, in the conditions of constant transportation of our goods in various directions,” this is the opinion of Alexander Karpuk, General Director of the BAMAP Association.
Representatives of the Ministry of Forestry, the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, the concern Bellesbumprom, Belneftekhim, Belgospishcheprom, as well as transport and logistics organizations are reportedly also represented at the meeting in an open dialogue.
In conclusion, Avramenko noted that each proposed proposal will be worked out and a decision will be made. In addition, a special discussion of logistics schemes is found at the end of October. “During this period, we have achieved evaluation results, new ideas and proposals for the implementation of our work in this part,” the minister said.
