Austrian Post: Delivery in Slovenia was the next logical step for us
On July 4, a new delivery branch of the Austrian Post, Express One Slovenia, started operating in Slovenia.
The newly established logistics company initially has two logistics centers in Maribor and Ljubljana, where it is also headquartered. In addition to these locations, several delivery bases provide you with delivery throughout Slovenia. The logistics center of the Austrian Post in Kalsdorf in Styria will also play a central role in the distribution of import and export packages.
“Because of our high quality, international customers have motivated us to offer our services on the Slovenian market as well. We already export adequate quantities to Slovenia, and we also have a strong market position in the neighboring countries of Austria, Croatia and Hungary. Self-delivery in Slovenia was therefore the next logical step for us,” he explains DI Peter Umundum, Director General for Parcels and Logistics, Austrian Post.
